I developed an elevated excitement for
business and entrepreneurship when I started working for a financial
institution. While working for the financial institution (which I have been for
the last 3 years) I was given a task of going out to local businesses and
meeting their owners or managers and build relationships with them. Through the
relationships I would ask to meet with their employees to offer my knowledge
about banking to help them reach their financial goals or help guide them
through a struggling time. I was not always successful and it took me some time
to find a good strategy to acquire these relationships but when I did it made
me really excited. I thought to myself, if I can do this for this then I could
easily do it for my own business that I just may be more passionate about. I
was literally building my own book of business and I feel that is the closest I
have gotten to entrepreneurship so far
I chose
ENT3003 not only because it is required but because this course excites me. I
want to develop my skills and knowledge to become even more valuable and possess
new skills to help me achieve my goals.
I am making a crazy face! Oh and this is me leaving Palmer College
of Chiropractic where I assisted with giving a speech about smart borrowing...
